This Privacy Policy describes the information collected and used by SYNC VALET™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) through our mobile applications and website and how that information is used.
Our mobile applications do not require users to create an account or provide personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the application’s features. Depending on the features enabled by the property, the application may use certain device data, including location, as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may also collect non-personal information about how the application is used, such as the duration of use, screens viewed, and actions performed within the application.
We Don’t Collect Personal Information with Our Applications.
When you download and use our mobile applications, we don’t require you to provide any information, and we don’t collect any information about you or your device except for
(i) non-personal information about the duration the App is used and how the App is used, such as the screens viewed and actions taken within our mobile applications; and
When You Request Support, You May Send Us Email.
We allow users to contact us if they have support questions about using our mobile applications. If you submit a support request, we may receive your email address and other information you provide related to your support request (“Support Information”). We use Support Information only.
Cookies
When you visit our website, we may send cookies to your computer that uniquely identify your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences and tracking usage information. Most browsers allow you to disable cookies or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent to your computer.
Links to Third-Party Sites
We may provide links and/or connections to third-party websites or services from our website (we don’t allow links within our mobile applications). We are not responsible for these third-party sites’ privacy practices or content.
Location
ParkPass collects and uses your device’s precise and background location to support the optional Geo-Fencing feature. Geo-Fencing verifies that you are within the designated property boundary before enabling gate access.
Location data is used solely to verify your proximity to an authorized property and enable secure gate access. It is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or analytics, and it is not sold or shared with third parties for those purposes.
Location permission can be granted, denied, or revoked at any time through your device’s settings. If location permission is not granted, the Geo-Fencing feature will be unavailable, but other application features may continue to operate.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. If we change how we use your email address, we will notify you in advance of posting by email. Such modifications will become effective on the date outlined in the email.
